Ashley is based in Washington state and is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. With two supportive parents by her side, Ashley was able to explore all facets of the figure skating world, and train in different locations with World and Olympic coaches. She realized early on how much joy the artistic side of skating and performing brought her. 

Ashley's life long dream of performing in a professional ice shows came true in 2001. She spent nearly 13 years touring the world and delighting audiences in numerous professional ice skating shows, including the iconic Holiday on Ice. 

In 2013 Ashley stepped away from the stage, spotlight, and the occasional elephant costume, to pursue coaching full time. 

Since then, she has dedicated her time to her own continued education, mentoring and educating upcoming coaches through the Professional Skaters Association (PSA). She is currently serving on the PSA Board of Governors, and volunteers as chair and member of several committees.
